The goat neck stew came out really good! I kept it simple too. … Seared each side in bacon fat and placed in crock-pot. Then I added two cups chicken broth, half cup red wine, water, celery, carrots, bay leaves and bit of salt. It cooked throughout last night.
I nibbled on the stew all day, had a BP coffee, dropped a portion of stew at my parents (Dad liked it), bought another herbal tea to try. Then I came home to clean up, prepare dinner, dessert and clean again!
Dinner consisted of jalapeño poppers, spinach and cheddar cheese omelet with a wild boar sausage.
I made “almond” butter cups for dessert and I’m so glad there are a bunch more in the freezer, because they scrumdiddlyumptious!
Me and my new Captain Picard tea cup!
Tea, Earl Grey, Hot.
Makin keto peanut butter cups!
Melt 4 tbsp coconut oil and mix in 4 tbsp cocoa powder, 1 tsp vanilla, sweetener to taste (I used 1/2 tsp liquid stevia) & mix well. Add about 1 tsp to the each of the mini cups and stick in the freezer for ten mins. Take it out and add half tsp natural peanut butter to each cup and the remaining chocolate mixture. Stick in fridge or freezer until set. Enjoy
I will def enjoy these!
I have half a goat in my freezer and I can’t wait to try it! I have no idea what it will taste like, but I hear it is a cross between lamb and beef. Going to try and make a keto-friendly neck stew first and work my way down to the ribs. … .
GOAT BONE BROTH - Tasty!?
